Mr Peter Sochor Has been involved in implant dentistry for over 30 years. He is the founder of Novadent Dental Studio in the heart of London and has gained a wide reputation for troubleshooting in all aspects of implantology. He has designed technical and prosthetic protocols and component parts for some of the major implant companies and has been involved for many years in the research of restorative implant dentistry and the teaching of dental surgeons and technicians worldwide.

In 1991, with Ashok Sethi, he commenced a teaching programme in implant dentistry for dental surgeons serious about incorporating implants into their practices. He recognised the paramount importance of a team approach in implant dentistry.

In 1992 he decided to commence a teaching programme in Implant Dentistry for dental technicians, (IPT) Implant Prosthetic Technology. This was set up to educate dental technicians in the prosthetic aspects of implant dentistry and to introduce this into their laboratories.

He has lectured in numerous European countries, including the Institute of Master Technicians in Dusseldorf. He has been invited to speak in the United States, Asia and all over Europe, including Russia. In the UK he has been invited to speak at numerous Dental Hospitals, and by invitation to speak for the Association of Dental Implantology and the Royal Society of Medicine.

He is a past lecturer at the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Scotland and the first technician to be elected to the committee of the Association of Dental Implantology.

He is a founder of the British Association of Implant Technicians and past chairman. He is a member of the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry. He is past treasurer of the International Association of Certified Dental Implant Technicians. (UK)

He is currently the Technical Director of PID (Practical Implant Dentistry) and a lecturer on the MSc Aesthetic Dentistry Programme at Kings College, London Dental Institute, UK

He has been published widely in peer reviewed journals, written a number of books, and was acknowledged in the first and second editions of Practical Implant Dentistry, by Dr. Ashok Sethi and Dr. Thomas Kaus, for his contributions and technical expertise.
